Well done to our Year 8 girls’ football team who beat Lurgan Junior High School 2-0 today in the Electric Ireland Cup, at a sunny but cold Binnian Park. The girls dominated the game and were denied a few more goals by an excellent Lurgan goalkeeper. Scorers today were Chloe, from a drilled in corner and also Annalise from a well-placed long-range strike.
Well done to Year 12 pupil, Grace, who helped coach the girls; she is an asset to KHS. Thanks to the Valley Rangers FC for the pitch hire and for setting up the 9-aside pitch. All the best to the girls in the next round and also to our Junior and Senior girls’ teams who are in action next Wednesday and Thursday in their cup games.
