Congratulations to Matthew (Y8), Amelia (Y8), Georgia (Y9) and Grace (Y9), who won the Antarctica Flag competition, hosted by @UKPolarNetwork.
The crew at Sky Blu kindly took their flags to Antarctica. Danielle is a field co-ordinator in the Antarctic summer and a Station General Assistant in the winter, Andrew Pinder is a wintering plant mechanic, Rob is a wintering plant operator and Matt Smith is a wintering field co-ordinator. Here is the photograph we received and a certificate for our school. We are very proud of everyone who designed flags for the competition and congratulations again to the winners who represented KHS and the Kilkeel community internationally. Well done from the Geography department!
