Well done to our U12 and U14 girls football teams who travelled away to play their Plate matches. Our U12s beat Wellington 4-3 on penalties after the match ended at 2-2 with goals coming from Darcy and Charlotte. Penalty takers were Penny, Darcy, Maisy, Charlotte and Molly. keeper Eloise, made two great saves. The girls played some lovely football.
We then travelled on to Dundonald for our U14s to face Dundonald High School. The girls were victorious with a fantastic 7-2 win, goals coming from Layla (3), Poppy (2), Sophia and Freya.
Thank you to two of our senior pupils, Zoe and Zara who accompanied the girls today and helped with the coaching. They did a great job. Thanks also to past pupil, Grace who refereed both games and did a superb job!
After the football we headed to the Ice-Bowl, where the girls showed off some good moves on the ice! We finished our day with a tasty feed at McDonalds! The girls all represented KHS so well and were a pleasure to take away. Congratulations on two great wins!
