Even from Australia, across the seas so wide,
Together here at Kilkeel High, standing side by side.
With uniforms all crisp and neat, new shoes that shine so bright,
School bags packed with pencils, hearts full of delight.
A chapter fresh is opening, the pages clear and wide,
The story’s theirs for writing — with courage as their guide.
Parents watch with tender hearts, a tear, a smile, a wave,
As children step toward their dreams, be strong, be kind, be brave.
This journey into growing up, to learning and to see,
