The Hygiene Bank Presentation

We had Claire who volunteers for The Hygiene Bank in school on Tuesday, to speak to our Year 8 and Year 9 pupils about what the charity does to help families in the local community. She shared case stories about hygiene poverty and highlighted how many products we use without actually realising. Claire spent some time discussing the importance of personal hygiene and how important it is for our well-being.

The Hygiene Bank have kindly donated hygiene product bags to KHS for girls and boys who are in need. If any pupil is experiencing hygiene poverty, please see our pastoral assistant Mrs Campbell to have access to these products. Her office is located in the library.

As a thank you to Claire and the charity, we would like to collect a range of products to donate to the hygiene bank, to give back to the local community. If you have any unwanted products that are unused and would be suitable for donation, please bring them into school. Please see the list of donatable items.

Thank you in advance for your support.
