Congratulations to Joanna and Nicole who took part in the Soroptimist Public Speaking competition at St Mary’s High School, Newry last Thursday evening. Both girls received high praise for their speeches and Joanna was awarded first place for her speech, ‘How do values-based politics better shape global society.’ Joanna will be competing in the Northern Ireland final in February next year! Many thanks to St Mary’s High School for hosting the Newry heat of the competition.
