This November, Year 8 and 9 pupils got involved in filling shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse, Shoe Box Appeal. Together, they filled 18 boxes that will be sent to 1 of over 100 countries that these shoeboxes arrive at each year. During an assembly, pupils heard about children who usually receive nothing for Christmas, and the excitement of 1 child when they received a toothbrush in their shoebox. For those who receive these boxes, this will be the best Christmas they have ever had. Thank you to our pupils at KHS for making a difference!
