KHS welcomes pupils from German Gymnasium Mellendorf for the first weeklong exchange visit. The German group arrived on Tuesday. Eleven Year 10 pupils are hosting a German exchange partner and together they are taking part in a series of communication workshops and visit Northern Ireland’s best sites. After a successful visit to the Ulster Folk Museum on Wednesday, the group braced themselves for the cold waters of the Mourne Mountains in a bouldering session at the Bloody Bridge before they make further visits to the Giant’s Causeway and the Titanic Museum in the coming days. Our KHS pupils are also looking forward to the return visit to Germany in September.
