It’s Kindness Week at KHS! This morning our students heard about some of the amazing acts of kindness (and bravery) that occurred when the Titanic sank. For example, Chief Steward Andrew Latimer, whose job was to look after first-class passengers, gave his own lifejacket to a female passenger while the Titanic’s Captain, Edward Smith, was last seen in the water holding up a child and refusing to abandon his ship. Officer Harold Lowe manned the only available lifeboat to return to the site of the shipwreck, saving six more from the freezing sea.
Monday’s challenge is to say something nice to someone.
