After qualifying at the Ulster Championships 2 weeks ago, 3 of our pupils were in Tullamore competing at the Irish Schools’ Championships this weekend (2nd and 3rd June).
On Friday evening, both Charlie and Rebecca had their events in shot and discus. Charlie finishing 5th and Rebecca 7th across all of Ireland! This was both of their first times at the Irish Championships, and we are so proud of them and all they have achieved this athletics season.
On Saturday, Grace was competing in her discus event. She finished in a brilliant 5th place in a very strong discus group. We are so proud of her reaching her second Irish Championships in a row!
The 3 pupils have represented our school so well throughout the season and their results reflect the effort and dedication they have put into their training. We can’t wait for more athletics seasons with them, well done to all three!
