It was a morning of excitement, joy and smiling faces as the Year 12 pupils of Kilkeel High School opened their envelopes to reveal their GCSE results. It has been a very good year for our school regarding external examinations. Not only did our A-level students excel in their results last week, but our GCSE students have continued this trend of excellent results in this 2024-2025 academic year. We would also like to congratulate our Year 11 students who received their module results. Keep up the hard work this year!
Our pupils achieved a higher percentage of A* grades, with many achieving A* – C grades. It is evident therefore, that a many of our GCSE pupils will be returning to pursue A-level study next week. This continual growth in Sixth Form study means that our school yet again, continues to grow numerically, as Kilkeel High School cements its position as a school within the heart of its local community.
Congratulations to all our GCSE pupils. To those not returning, we wish them all the very best as they pursue various avenues of further study and employment.
