Our A Level Technology and BTEC Engineering students enjoyed an inspiring trip to Collins Aerospace on the 30th April, gaining valuable insight into real‑world engineering and manufacturing. The day began with a professional introduction, followed by engaging sessions on lean manufacturing and operations modernisation, before students explored the facility on a guided tour. A careers overview highlighted early career opportunities, and the visit concluded with a fascinating tour of the logistics hub. This hands‑on experience linked classroom learning to industry practice and gave students a real glimpse into future engineering pathways.
