Cross country report- Wednesday 19th February.
Congratulations to all the Kilkeel High competitors who represented the school last week at the Ulster Cross-country Championships at Mallusk on Wednesday, 19th February.
The athletes performed exceptionally well, with some fantastic performances. Pride of place must go to Senior pupil, Jaylee Parke, who qualified through to the Irish Championships in Galway on Saturday 8th March by finishing in the top 15 in the Senior Girls’ race.

Christopher Bailey 28th in Senior Boys.
Aaron O’Brien 32nd in Minor Boys.
Katie Niblock 35th in Inter Girls.
Jay Forsthye 60th and Callum McDonald 65th in Junior Boys.
Thanks also go to our Coach Kerry Gordon, who runs the Running Club each Monday after school. All the training and hard work are paying off.
It continues to meet in preparation for school cross-country on Friday, 8th March, and for the upcoming track season, which is very soon.
