Well done to all our junior pupils who entered the local Credit Union Art Competition. This year’s theme was ‘The Joys of Life’ and it was lovely to find out all about our pupils and about what they love to do. The work was of a very high standard and our art teachers were very impressed. Before sending entries off to the Credit Union, School House certificates were awarded to our own favourite work. Pupils were awarded in three categories, gold, silver and bronze, each with different points going towards our school house system. Work was then sent to the Credit Union competition and KHS was very successful in gaining six winning prizes. Well done to all who took part and especially our winners. Thank you to Kilkeel Credit Union for the opportunity and the generous cash prizes.
