This year has seen a record number of pupils taking part in a wide range of English writing competitions, with participation extending across both our junior and senior school. This reflects the enthusiasm, creativity and growing confidence of pupils at all levels.
Pupils have engaged with a variety of themes and styles, producing thoughtful, imaginative and expressive pieces of writing. It has been particularly encouraging to see younger pupils embracing these opportunities and developing their skills alongside older students.
We would like to congratulate all those who have received certificates and recognition throughout 2026. Their success is a testament to their hard work, originality and dedication to improving their writing. With such a high standard of work on display, we have no doubt that many of these pupils will go on to become published authors in the future.
