Kilkeel High School were competing at the recent County Down Athletics’ Championships at the Mary Peters’ Track in Belfast and achieved tremendous success.
The athletes gained an incredible 23 medals overall, both in individual and relay events and now 34 students will compete for the school in the Ulster Athletics’ Championships next week at the same venue.
There were also numerous Personal Bests gained by the pupils and 73 pupils finishing in the top 8.
