Beyond the school gate: an unforgettable experience and a truly proud moment for everyone involved!
On Monday, Bethany, Ivana, Rachel and Mya made the journey to London, where they proudly represented the Schomberg Society and championed Ulster-Scots culture right in the heart of the Palace of Westminster.
In a history‑making moment, they became the first Highland dancers ever to perform at Westminster, taking to the floor in front of two hundred dignitaries and VIP guests at a prestigious Parliamentary St Patrick’s Day Reception. The atmosphere was electric as they showcased their talent with poise, energy and pride.
The event, hosted by Andrew Rosindell MP and Jim Shannon MP, provided a remarkable platform to highlight both their skill and the rich traditions they represent.
It was, without doubt, a truly memorable occasion – one that will be cherished for years to come.
