17 Year 8 pupils and 28 Year 9 pupils recently took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. This challenge is made up of 25 multiple choice questions which are designed to encourage mathematical reasoning and problem solving.
In Year 8, James was awarded a Bronze certificate and Matthew achieved a Silver certificate.
In Year 9, 15 pupils were awarded a Bronze certificate and 5 pupils achieved a Silver certificate.
A special mention goes to Harry and Abbie who were joint “Best in School”, missing out on the Gold award by just 1 mark!
