Pianoman – The Piano Scholarship Scheme are running a masterclass for pianists in KHS on Tuesday 8th March from 2.30-4pm.

Richard Meyrick is a professional pianist from London and he will work with 6 KHS students and an audience made up of other pianists from school (preferably grade 3 and above). Each participant will bring along a piece of piano music they have been working on and Richard will work with the students to help improve the overall performance. The audience and performers can learn so much just from listening; Richard’s aim is to broaden the thinking of the whole audience. He will give new perspectives, techniques and goals for the preparation and presentation of the music performed. It should be a valuable experience for all. If you would like to be in the audience speak to Mr Kincaid on Monday morning. A maximum of 25 spaces are available.
