World Book Day was celebrated this year on Thursday, 7th March and provides a fantastic opportunity to focus on reading for pleasure and embedding a habit of reading. We had several events running in the library all week including a scavenger hunt, quizzes and a special World Book Day word search. Our competition winners were Katelyn, John and Jack (missing from photo).
February was ‘Love of Reading’ month and we held our annual ‘Blind Date with a Library Book’ competition. This year’s winner was Ella in Year 8.
